Class Of 2010 Joins The Ranks Of The De La Salle School - A full roster of fifth graders gathered on the first day of classes, 5 September 2006 all set to join their sixth, seventh, and eighth grade fellow students. Electron Microscope - Eighth graders view microorganisms under an electron microscope during their visit to the New York Hall of Science. The Journey Begins - Nelson is poised to venture forth on a class trip. Feeding Time At The Farm - Christian feeds the cows! Sharing Their Story -Olivier, Alexander, and Dennis shared their thoughts about “life on the farm.” Three Brothers Excel at The De La Salle School - Christian, Henry, and Ruben are all excelling at school. Fifth grader Christian and sixth grader Ruben are both on the "Honors" list and big brother Henry, in seventh grade, achieved "High Honors" status in Fall, 2006. NYC Here We Come! - Olivier, Christian, and Ron, along with the entire school traveled to Radio City Music Hall to enjoy the "Christmas Spectacular". Advent Service of Lessons and Carols - For the fifth year in a row, the students of The De La Salle School offered a service of music and prayer in celebration of the Advent Season to the Freeport community. Student Council Elected - Mrs. Roseann Petruccio, The De La Salle School Principal (far left) and Mr. Maurice Elvie, the school's science and technology teacher (far right) are shown with newly elected student council members.
         
De La Salle Students - members of the Class of 2009 are happy to have their picture taken. Time to Get in Shape! - The students enjoy a hip-hop dance as part of the physical education program. Her Name is Maple - Joel and Chris check out Maple, the calf. "I Did It!" - The De La Salle School celebrated its first graduating class in June 2006. Patrick is attending Holy Trinity Diocesan High School. Seven of the twelve graduates are now ninth graders in five different Catholic high schools. Bibles for Every Student - Saint Mary’s Press donated sixty beautiful leather-bound Catholic Youth Bibles - enough for every student to take home and share with their family. Thank Heaven for Volunteers! Thomas Hessel, Sue Bevilacqua, and Marie Roberts were honored recently as volunteer tutors at The De La Salle School's Thanksgiving Breakfast and Prayer Service.
